Privacy policy

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us. That means the details in our newsletter signup, guest application, sponsorship inquiry, event submission and event correction forms, such as your name, email address, phone number, organization and the message you write.

We do not ask for and do not want Social Security numbers, VA file numbers, medical records, claim documents or any other sensitive personal records. Please do not send them through this website.

How we use it

We use your information to reply to you, review your submission, and send the Veteran Community Roundup if you asked for it. Newsletter consent is separate from guest and sponsor inquiries, so sending one form never adds you to the other list.

Who sees it

Submissions are stored in our own database and are visible only to our staff. We do not sell your information. We share it with service providers such as our email and scheduling tools only to the extent needed to reply to you.

Publicly published events, resources and guest information are editorial content, not personal contact records. We never publish the private contact details from a submission form.

Newsletter and unsubscribing

Every Roundup email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email us and we will remove you.

Analytics and cookies

We use basic, privacy-respecting traffic measurement to understand which pages are useful. We do not build advertising profiles of visitors.

Your choices

Email info@helpingthebrave.com to see, correct or delete the information you sent us. We will confirm by email when it is done.
