their next chapter.
Ed Parcaut is a U.S. Navy veteran, author, entrepreneur, and lifelong advocate for those who serve. After navigating his own transition and supporting fellow veterans for years, Ed launched Helping The Brave as a platform for open, unfiltered conversations around life after service.
After leaving the Navy, Ed faced the same questions many veterans do — identity loss, career uncertainty, and mental health challenges. That experience drives everything he builds today.
Through the podcast — and now through VA benefits support and live events — Ed’s mission is clear:
“I don’t care if it’s therapy, weed, prayer, or psychedelic medicine — just get the help that works for you. PTSD doesn’t care what tool you use. I just want you here tomorrow.” — Ed Parcaut
This quote speaks to Ed’s direct, no-judgment approach. It sets the tone for the entire platform: real help, without stigma.
“If you were under fire, you’d call in air support. So why not ask for help now? This is your fight, but you don’t have to fight it alone.” — Ed Parcaut
This line is often how Ed encourages veterans to reframe asking for help — not as weakness, but as tactical support.

Boxing coach. Veteran guide. Lifelong learner.
“There’s nothing wrong with learning what you want to do. Don’t let your past define you — it’s never too late to grow.”

Too many veterans transition out of service and feel lost. The mission is over. The uniform is gone. But the questions begin:
What now?
What am I supposed to do next?
Where’s the support I was promised?
Helping The Brave was built to answer those questions with:
Raw, real stories from fellow veterans
Straightforward VA benefits help
A growing community of connection and action
Giving space to stories that deserve to be heard
Helping veterans navigate benefits and next steps
You don’t have to do this alone
