Robert Atkins, Navy photographers mate - Helping the Brave Podcast - Robert is devoted Father and Husband, who served his country in the US Navy, which kicked off his professional career and has helped lead him to becoming the man he is today. Following in his father and grandfather's footsteps Robert Atkins joined the Navy two months after graduating high school in 2000, enlisting as a photographer's mate. A year after his enlistment date, the events of 9/11 happened and Robert was on his way to his first deployment. He eventually served deployments for Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. At his first squadron at Naval Air Station Oceana, he was responsible for maintaining the aerial reconnaissance system and later the avionics systems. Robert has lived in Pensacola, Florida, Virginia Beach and Manteca California, and Modesto California, plus a few ships floating in the ocean. After his enlistment he returned home and his first civilian job was selling pianos at Barker's Music. Robert obtained his Real Estate license in June of 2016 and is currently a Realtor with RE/MAX Executive in Modesto California. Robert loves every aspect of Real Estate and specializes in first time home buyers, first time sellers and investors.
