Max Gumbinger a Marine veteran currently working as a Veterans Benefits Specialist at the WDVA, helping Veterans and dependents access the VA benefits they are entitled to. "I served in the Marines from 2011 to 2015, as an Engineer. I did a tour with the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit sailing aboard the USS Boxer around the west Pacific Ocean, Persian Gulf, and the Horn of Africa. After leaving the Marines in 2015, I studied Political Science and History at the University of California Santa Cruz, and graduated in 2020. I moved to Washington later that year and have been loving it here ever since."
